Another quick note. We have made a change in the postings. In order to avoid confusion, instead of showing all the bidders on each piece, we will only be showing the current highest bid. We have received some bids that were lower than the highest ones, so we hope to eliminate confusion by this.

Update on Bids

For the first day of bidding, there has been a lot of excitement. Michelle will soon be putting up some great new pieces too! This is such a wonderful opportunity to own a beautiful piece by an accomplished artist at a great price while helping others through our nonprofit, Fiberarts Connection of Southern California, a 501 (c) (3) organization.

The final bids for the day are posted up on the site so you can see them there. We have one bid tied at $35.00, so someone is going to have to break the tie!

The Bidding

I have been a bit unsure of what manner will work best in tracking the bids coming for our Holiday Season fundraiser, but have given it a bit of thought, and we will have a go at it.

If you have sent a bid to Annie prior to the opening of the auction, never fear, you won't be forgotten. We just have some updating to do. And feel free to send them to me again.

Many of you have sent me only the numbers of the pieces you are bidding on; do take a moment to double check and be sure we have you down for the right piece. I am going to start placing bids by piece, then update those bids as the same pieces are bid on by others, so you can see if you want to continue to bid or not.

Most of all, feel free to send me any suggestions, or let me know of any mistakes I might have made! Pam Robson
